Artillators supply the army with crossbows. They retrieve a wood plank from the stockpile before they start crafting. Their wares can be equipped by crossbowmen.
Workshops should be placed in high numbers for an extensive production capacity, as one or two may not be enough for the player's demands.
It is recommended to build artillator's workshops close to the stockpile and armoury.
