The barracks allows the training of all Crusader troops. All barracks units must be supplied gold and equipment from the armoury, which can be filled by craftsmen from workshops, or bought.

Freshly recruited troops come out of the barracks almost instantly. A rally point can be placed to a custom location per troop by selecting it in the barracks' menu.

The barracks structure is made of stone and it is hard to destroy. It can be damaged by melee attacks and rocks. When collapsing, all units die on the top of it. It can be used as a part of the walls, as well as the barracks can host a number of troops on the roof, allowing it to be built as part of the castle walls.
