The Burning Post is a torture device where a criminal will be standing tied to a post and burned by a torturer. The torturer stands there and keeps the post burning until the criminal dies. Then, another peasant will take the dead person's place in society. Although the post costs no gold, it requires a vast amount of wood to ensure there is always wood for the process.
