Fu Hao is an enthusiastic priestess and military general under the banner of the Shang Dynasty. Having led multiple campaigns in her lifetime and having been a wife of the Shang king, Fu knows how to embrace power and use her Imperial troops to demonstrate superior leading capabilities.

Fu builds a square-shaped castle with spiked curves in the corners that have towers on the edges. Three gatehouses provide access on the sides of the castle, while further towers paired with mangonels and ballista platforms are placed at frequent intervals along the walls.
Fu Hao tends to forgo luxury resources. Instead, she relies on a broad variety of food and positive Fear Factor to garner popularity.
Combined arms is the keyword for Fu Hao's armies, and she does not hesitate to show the full might of the Imperial army. Fu has a high preference for auxiliary archers and auxiliary axemen, conducting frequent raids with them. Nonetheless, she also adds heavy armor to complement her fragile armies: Imperial crossbowmen and imperial guardsmen provide a reliable heavy frontline along with a few imperial cavalry. In sieges, Fu builds catapults and mortars to pound walls from medium range.

Fu has versatile and capable armies, but she does not attack very often to capitalize on her power. Harassing and swaying her warlords can quickly deprive her of map control, as well as a well-formed army with superior numbers can blunt her all-out attacking attempts.
The castle of Fu Hao tends to be hard to approach, given that she has ballista and mangonel platforms ready to take out any siege equipment and heavy troop in one shot. This suggests that an all-out attack with a large combined-arms force is most favoured. Since Fu uses no traps, overwhelming the ranged defenders and creating a breach quickly can yield a swift victory. Bait out the tower equipment with a few fodder troops, then move in for the kill.
