The Gallows is a torture device in Stronghold, Stronghold Crusader and Stronghold 2.
In Stronghold and Stronghold Crusader, the gallows are built to decrease Fear Factor in order to increase production. However, it may cause negative popularity among the public.
In Stronghold 2, this device is used to remove criminals. A torturer comes and hangs up the criminal with a rope, leaving him soon without breath, causing him to die. It is a very efficient way to fight crime, although the most expensive among punishment tools.
