The inn provides the luxury of consuming ale for the peasants. An innkeeper is responsible to operate the building and distribute fresh ale from the stockpile, which is slowly consumed over time. Consumption rate is proportional to the number of peasants, however it can be raised or decreased with the help of a slider (available from the inn panel). Inn portions range from no rations to double.
Occasionally, civilians and some workers pay a visit to the inn, where they drink a flagon of ale and then become drunk, wandering around the area until sobered up. Moreover, criminals can also walk to the inn from their posts, if their hovel is far away, and try to sneak to the granary in order to steal. Consequently, guard posts should be placed close to the inn to ensure that no theft is committed.
