The mill is a production building.
Description
The mill is a place where wheat is converted into flour. Millboys ferry the required and produced resources to the stockpile, where bakers can retrieve them to bake bread.
Information
Mills are an invaluable asset in the most productive food chain. They provide bakeries flour, which can be used to create abundant food supply. Bread with their extensive production quantities can serve as a great source of income, either sold at the market or through taxes, with increased rations. The wheat necessary is usually grown at wheat farms.
Usually, three workers are required to take turns between the stockpile and the mill, as they constantly produce flour. From Stronghold 2 onwards, the mill gets its own storeplace, where wheat and flour can be dropped off, enabling millboys to not waste time waiting for the mill to free up.
Notes
- In Stronghold Legends, only the Good faction has access to the bread production chain.
- In Stronghold Crusader 2, the mill requires no workers to operate, as only one millboy takes turns between it and the stockpile.
