Biography[]

Return of the Wolf[]

Ten years after the First War, the Wolf decides to return and take revenge on the Boy, building a military alliance and using the descendants of Duc de Puce and Duc Truffe to exert control over the lands. Rupert Silverback is charged with the conquest of the Marshlands, a treacherous but strategically important area. He ventures out with a contingent to start his skirmish.

Silverback's progress is hindered when he encounters an independent hostile warlord, Thomas Blackstaff. Although his castle stands firm against the scouting parties, Silverback locks down the surroundings and he is poised to commit a decisive strike on the wearied defenders. Much to Blackstaff's luck, the Boy arrives with his army and fights through the contain, bolstering his ranks and repelling Silverback. The rodent scurries away to safety,

After the repulsion of his brothers, Silverback is forced to hold his ground in the very lands his father left to him and his siblings. The Boy sets up camp and sweeps their castles clear, however the Rats escape with their lives, yet again. While The Boy is busy marching against the Jackal, he sends Blackstaff after them.

Blackstaff's Campaign[]

Silverback flees by ship to the safety of Greyshore Island, where he enjoys the support of the local reigning power, the Brotherhood. When he takes word that Blackstaff set up camp, he immediately sets a raiding force to remove him. Much to his annoyance, his forces are beaten.

Blackstaff immediately leads a counterattack against Silverback's castle. Although it is heavily fortified, the fortification is badly constructed in a valley that could be easily used to the attacker's advantage. Blackstaff besieges the castle and captures it, including Silverback, putting an end to his reign.
