The Slave Driver is a support melee unit in Stronghold Crusader 2.
Description
The slave driver is a cruel motivator, who knows no mercy. He is responsible for ensuring his slaves' performance on the battlefield. Although fast and durable by himself, the slave driver is mostly used for his aura, in conjunction with slaves. This trait grants a huge bonus to slaves' armor rating in close vicinity, greatly diminishing ranged weapons' damage.
Due to his passive, the slave driver is most useful at conducting raids with big groups of slaves. Unless the target player amasses a huge number of ranged defenders, even then some slaves can slip through killing zones and start torching buildings, spreading an almost unavoidable inferno.
Trivia
- When moving along a group of slaves, the slave driver will lash some of them with his whip.
