Spearmen are among the weakest combat units in the game. Despite this, they have fast movement speed, which enables them to be trained in droves and reinforce or harass a position quickly. The spearman can fill in the moat, just like any other soldier.
Spearmen require a free peasant from the campfire and 1 spear with a sum of 8 gold to recruit.
