The Lost Sea SHC
In this battle it will be you and 1 Richard Jordan against 2 Sultans and 2 Saladmans. The AI is set to start off with 37000 more gold than you. Don't worry it isn't as bad as it sounds. Sultans are nearby and you can keep to keep battle yours. Crossbowmen make short work of his troops. While Saladman isn't a bad attacker by any means, a Balistae and Crossbowmen simply melt his Ariabian swordsmen.
I started by using 10 Crossbowmen to the closest Sultan's castle.I also send some shields for fun. I like to use Monks early stage as melee fighters as Cathedrials tend to pay for themselves over the course of the game with their +2 boost to popularity simply by exsiting. Monks also only cost 10 gold per unit and you do not need weapons. After my Crossbowmen subdued Sultan I simply sent monks to teach Sultan a lesson.
Since Richard Jordan is a rather bad defender, I simply sent a Balistae and some Crossbowmen and man did it do a difference. Even the Sultan's attacks can threaten Richards 62IQ defense. If you didn't know you can build walls and towers near your allies.
Anyways with my Sultan dead I got around 8000 gold for defeating the poor soul. I sent more monks to take care of the Sultan that my ally Richard was sending to Banworld and got a bit more gold for Sheline.
Really by this point I Saladman's attacks to either me or Richard really didn't mean much so I just focused on Economy. Just realize Saladman uses Assassin's during his attacks. do with that what you will. I use Pikemen when my economy is going so I just simply sent my Pikemen and Horsearchers to beat both Saladmans down (watch out for tower engineer defense) and won.5'3 ninja (talk) 17:41, September 19, 2019 (UTC)
